Up to 4 devices using your WhatsApp account at the same time
Until now it was possible to use WhatsApp on the computer with desktop applications. The bad news is that for years the function has not changed and it was necessary to have the main device, your mobile, connected to the internet and turned on. Now this changes and the devices they will be able to connect independently.
With the new function you can use WhatsApp on your computer without having your mobile on. You can do this in up to 4 devices at the same time. And yes, the chats, the multimedia content and all the settings are shared between the devices that you have linked.
Can you open WhatsApp in the desktop application or in the browser thanks to the WhatsApp Web version, all distributed among the 3 devices that you want. Of course, the nerve center of your WhatsApp account is still your mobile, from which you can manage logins.
WhatsApp on various devices is not that interesting
WhatsApp has done everything right except one thing: it does not allow to have two mobiles connected to the same account. The devices that you can connect go through tablets and computers of all kinds, but not mobile phones. If you have two smartphones and you want to have the same account in both, you will not be able to use the new function.
We do not know why, but WhatsApp cannot be configured on two mobiles at the same time with the same account and independently. In this way, the idea loses steam, as users have been waiting for years that WhatsApp can be used on various devices without restrictions, something that Telegram has been allowing for a long time.
From this moment you can download the beta version of WhatsApp from Google Play and start using the new multi-device function. Our recommendation is that you wait for the official arrival in the stable version, something that will happen shortly.
