It must be said: Cyberpunk 2077 did not meet the expectations that a good part of its large followers had on it. Technical problems, features that were left halfway and elements that break the dive are some of its weaknesses. But with its pluses and minuses, it has marked trend and now it’s up to Vigilance 2099 take over.
Naturally, the budget of Envoidant Studios It’s not the same as CD Projekt’s, but judging from its second trailer gameplay (indexed below these lines) the result is frankly convincing anyway. Not surprisingly, the great novelty that this video raises is that the game has been switched to the Unreal Engine 5 engine and it is the first time that we have seen what it can offer graphically in this environment.
You can imagine what we’re sticking with: neon lights, puddles, a cyberpunk city shrouded in the veil of night, and lots of reflections. In addition to exploring the metropolitan streets on foot, we also have a vehicle aerial that, it seems, offers a lot of verticality and freedom of movement.
Certainly the combat system, which also has its moment of glory, seems to still need some drama, but for now it can boast of having implemented features such as the change of perspective between first and third person, executions or a mechanic to roll.
Not bad, right? Well, to all this that is seen in the video we have to add other possibilities such as scanning the terrain to obtain key information, exploiting the individual weaknesses of each opponent and there are even elements of Parkour. In the absence of a release date, you can follow it up on Steam.
