“We are disappointed that we cannot conclude our 2021 season at the Hermanos Rodríguez Racetrack. Mexico has shown interest and great support for the W Series. The changes in the Formula 1 calendar meant that, to continue with a race in Mexico City, we had to carry out an independent race to the Mexico GP event, which was logistically impossible for us.”, He acknowledged Catherine Bond Muir, CEO of the W Series.
The organizing committee of the F1ESTA trusts that in the near future a date of the first motorsports championship conformed to the 100% by female pilots. This seeks to inspire girls and women around the world.
At the moment, the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Mexico City 2021, scheduled for the November 5 to 7, will only feature the FIA F4 NACAM Championship and the Mercedes Benz Cup, Super Cup category.
