Skydance New Media is the developer studio for the new Star Wars.
Lucasfilm Games has announced a partnership with Skydance New Media, Skydance Media’s new triple-A video game creation division, to develop a new Star Wars action-adventure game with an original story. The study is led by amy hennigwho was the writer and creative director of Uncharted as well as the director of Jak 3, alongside Todd Vaxwick, with whom she began developing the up-and-coming Star Wars Ragtag, a canceled project that was going to offer a Star Wars adventure with Uncharted touches.
Amy has explained that “I’ve often described how watching Star Wars in 1977 essentially rewired my 12-year-old brain, indelibly shaping my creative life and future.”. The one who is president of Skydance New Media admits she’s thrilled to be working with Lucasfilm again to tell an interactive story of the galaxy she loves so much.

She and the team at Skydance New Media have the talent and ambition to create a unique Star Wars adventure.”, says Douglas Reilly, vice president of Lucasfilm Games. “Their vision of creating narrative-driven, engaging interactive entertainment makes this collaboration very exciting. More Star Wars games on the way
Details of the new Star Wars game developed by Skydance New Media are currently unknown. However, it should be remembered that the saga continues to expand with more titles announced as Star Wars: Quantic Dream Eclipse or the Star Wars by Ubisoft Massive (The Division). Likewise, the subsidiary of Skydance Media is also working on a new marvel adventure game.
