The soccer community has reacted to the death of Tomás Boy, a former UANL Tigres player and a controversial figure in Mexican soccer.
The death of the man also nicknamed “The Boss” comes after being admitted to an emergency after suffering a pulmonary thromboembolism.

Thus, under this framework, yesterday the news of the death of Tomás Boy, former player of the Tigres de la UANL and Technical Director of clubs such as Cruz Azul, Chivas, Monarcas, Mazatlán (his last team), was announced. among others.
Nicknamed “El Jefe”, who was a World Cup player in Mexico 1986, he had been hospitalized in an emergency in Acapulco, Guerrero, after suffering a pulmonary thromboembolism.
His personality always caused controversy and until a few years ago he managed to be the top scorer in the history of the Tigers, but then the Frenchman André-pierre Gignac would arrive to break his record.
In 1998 he began his career as Technical Director directing the San José Earthquakes of Major League Soccer (MLS), and later became part of teams such as Tampico Madero, Querétaro, Veracruz, Monarcas Morelia, Monterrey, Puebla, Atlas, Cruz Azul. and Chivas.

Meeting of owners and sanctions for the case of Querétaro vs. Atlas
In short, they have not been good days for Mexican soccer after what happened last Saturday in the game of day 9 that saw Querétaro vs. Atlas, which would end with a brawl that would go around the world.
