In its first week on sale, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandsthe new installment of the Borderlands series starring Tina Chiquitina and her role-playing game, has managed to place itself in the #1 UK Digital Sales Chart. He thus shows that the Borderlands series still has a lot of pull among lovers of the looter shooter genre, contrary to what it might seem at first.
According to the British sales list compiled by GSD (via GamesIndustry), Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is in first place, unlike other lists that collected only sales in physical format, in which it appeared in second place behind Elden Ring. In fact, it explains 77% of Gearbox Software and 2K Games game sales have been digital. Of which, 55% would correspond to the Xbox version and the remaining 45% to the PlayStation version.
Other games that arrived in stores last week are Ghostwire: Tokyo and Kirby: The Forgotten Land, but neither game makes the list for Nintendo and Bethesda’s refusal to share sales data in digital format. In this way, the list of the ten best-selling games in digital format last week in the United Kingdom is as follows:
- Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
- Elden Ring
- FIFA 22
- grand theft auto 5
- F1 2021
- WWE 2K22
- Grand Theft Auto Online
- Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
- Grand Touring 7
- Rainbow Six Siege
