Have you ever wondered what an impending Bloodborne II would look like? East youtube video shows us a possibility in which it would be done in Unreal Engine 5. The impressive thing is to see each of the well-known areas of this FromSoftware classic in this graphic quality, if it were to arrive in this new one (or in the next generation of consoles), its result would be impressive).
Since the release of Bloodborne, we’ve heard enough rumors about a sequel to this highly praised title, as well as a remake or remaster of the original game for next-gen consoles and PCs, but unfortunately, none of those have turned out to be true so far. However, this has not stopped Enfant Terrible from bringing us this wonder:
In case you’re not familiar with his work, Enfant Terrible is a YouTube content creator known primarily for his tech demos based on Unreal Engine 5, one of the most powerful tools for designing video games. On this occasion, he shared some images from a concept trailer for Bloodborne 2, showing how dark and realistic Yharnam could look if we were to finally get a sequel for this franchise.
This concept trailer showcases some stunning locations in Yharnam in stunning graphic detail that captures the essence that fans have fallen in love with. Honestly, some of these locations would be ideal for epic dark and spooky boss fights. As with previous tech demos, there is nothing playable in this fan-made project, which means there is also no way to download it. However, there is nothing written in the future and this could be possible.
Bloodborne II is far from being a reality
We can only hope that the Bloodborne-based projects and arts from fans get enough traction to finally convince Sony to greenlight a sequel to the franchise. Previously, Hidetaka Miyazaki revealed in an interview that developing a sequel to Bloodborne is completely up to Sony, so he, at least, has an interest in continuing the franchise.
At the moment, Bloodborne is currently available on PS4, but you can also play it on PS5 through backwards compatibility. Unfortunately, the game has not received any enhancement updates for PlayStation 5 as of yet. I wouldn’t be surprised if Bloodborne fans give up hope of reviving this IP, but we can at least fantasize about what a Bloodborne sequel would look like, especially after all the joy FromSoftware delivered with Elden Ring.
