A few weeks from iPhone 13 launch, Apple has started sending out its invitations to the event of «Apple California Streaming»With a curious Easter egg (Easter egg).
Said Easter Egg has to do with the AR (Augmented Reality). The Apple logo appears to us, opening a portal to California.
How does it work?
If you go to the website of the apple event and you click on the logo apple will be activated on your device ios or iPadOS the camera so you can put this portal wherever you want. On macOS you can download the file and watch the animation.
In the following Tweet, Greg Joswiak welcomes us and tells us that the September 14 in streaming using this AR portal.
We’re California Streaming on September 14th. See you real soon. 🏞 #AppleEvent pic.twitter.com/OjOvJFXlHd

It should be noted that the logo is a still image, but if you go through it as if it were a real portal, you will see the date “9.14”. Apple uses the “physical” anchor of this object in AR to allow us to move through the portal and see inside.
While it is true that Apple has previously used similar files for event invitations, it is the first time which uses an anchor so that we can see it in 360 degrees in AR.
What does this all mean?
As always, Easter Eggs usually have hidden meanings of things to come. In this case, Apple could be announcing a very big bet on AR technology.
But we also know that in some cases this type of advertising only serves to increase our desire to see a new product.
What do we expect from this event?
What we know for sure is that Apple will launch the iPhone 13 on this day. But you could also use it to reveal the Apple Watch Series 7. It is also rumored that will go on sale before September 24, but surely in Spain we have to wait a little longer.
We are a few days away from seeing all the news of new Apple products, where at last all our doubts will be resolved.
