They’ve nailed the retro-futuristic aesthetic of Fallout.
Among all the video game series that are being produced or will be produced soon, the Fallout series that Amazon Prime Video is preparing with the producer of Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy (Westworld), may be one of the most anticipated among fans. Both for the license itself, one of the biggest franchises in the western RPG genre, and for the retrofuturistic setting of the saga. We have already seen the first images of the shooting setand the truth is that things look very good.
It is not the first time that a filming set of this Fallout series has been leaked, a couple of months ago an image of what it seemed to be was already leaked the parking lot of a “Super-Duper Market”, a supermarket chain that has appeared in one way or another in every modern installment of the franchise. This time the images are from one of the indoor sets.
Specifically, these are several images of “Vault 32”, where part of this Fallout series will take place. As can be seen, the Exactly recreates the scenarios of the Bethesda games. It is certainly an aesthetic impossible to confuse with another franchise. Let’s remember that Todd Howard, director of the games, acts as producer of this series.

It is not yet known who will be the inhabitants of this Vault 32 or what role they will have in the plot, because not even a synopsis has been shared, but Lisa Joy confirmed last year that this Fallout series will be “a gonzo adventure, crazy, fun and a mental stripe like none you have seen before”. We will have to be attentive to more news about this production.
Fallout 5 is now official, but we will have to wait
As for Fallout news in terms of video games, Bethesda recently officially confirmed that there will be Fallout 5. The downside is that we will have to wait a few years to see it in stores. Not only does Bethesda have to finish development on Starfield first, which delayed its release to 2023, it also has to finish The Elder Scrolls IV first, which to our knowledge has yet to even enter active development. There is no approximate date when it could be ready.
