A TikTok video showed how public transport and free WiFi is a reality in Luxembourg.
Luxembourg is considered the first country to implement a completely free public transport service.
Living in Luxembourg can be much more rewarding than it already sounds, because according to what many media and Internet users share, this has become the first country to implement a service of Free public transportation, plus WiFi connectivity that spreads throughout the city.
Until the year 2020, the population of the city exceeded 100 thousand, however, the entire country barely has 632 thousand peoplebeing one of the smallest countries in Europe.
TikTok and its presence in the world
TikTok has become one of the favorite social networks for users, not only to promote products or talk about a specific trend. Sometimes, some users use the impulse of this network to share their life experiences.
In fact, according to Statista, Mexico is considered in 2022 the second country in Latin America that registers the most internet users per day, with 96 million online users during the day to day.
In short, it has been revealed that, at present, there are nearly five billion people connected to the Internet and, of course, to social networks, of which it is Facebook the one that leads the market with just over three billion registered users so far.
Other platforms, such as YouTube, Instagram or TikTok have also reported significant growth, but it is the Chinese social network that has attracted the most attention during the last couple of years (2020 and 2021).
Since the arrival of the pandemic, the name of TikTok began to appear in the main trends in several countries, to such an extent that, in 2021, the platform created by ByteDance has already exceeded one billion active users in just five years since its foundation.
For this reason, many users begin to migrate to the short video platform, since they have considered that it is ideal for sharing direct and effective messages that are also considerably easier to make than, possibly, a video of the same quality on YouTube, whose duration is usually extended.
They show what it’s like to live in Luxembourg, the country with transport and free WiFi
A TikTok user published a video where he tells what it is like to live in Luxembourg and shows a bit of its streets and buildings.
It stands out mainly for being the first city to implement a totally free public transport service. In addition, from what is shown in the video, the facilities in its different services are in a totally impeccable state.
It also reveals that there is WiFi connectivity throughout the city, which, although it does not work to view streaming apps or specific internet pages, does work to always maintain transport routes and thus avoid getting lost.
Finally, it highlights that something that can rarely be found in even “first world” countries is that sanitary napkins, condoms and tampons are offered at public transport stations, giving a clear example of how health and sexual education should be available to the entire population.
