The history
Through a video shared on the social network TikTokbecame known as a food delivery man decided to help a man on the street, after an order was cancelled.
The case was registered in Peru, where a delivery man from the Rappi platform can be seen helping a person on the street.
“An order just dropped and the man never came out. It’s early in the morning, it’s after one, and I was waiting for the man for about 30 minutes and he never came out. Guess what I’m going to do with his food?” the worker said at the beginning of the video.
In the video shared by the user of the delivery man @bad_jeims, the subject can be seen showing the food package that the customer rejected and then handing the food to the man who adapted several boxes to sleep on the street.
“Being 12:47 am, the last order falls for me to go home to rest, I had to pick up the order in San Isidro and take it to Victoria, I was a little scared because of the time and the area. I arrived at the client’s home at 1:10 am, I wrote to the application chat and he didn’t answer, I called him about 23 times and he didn’t answer, I rang the bell many times and he didn’t answer either, ”he explained.
Next, he explains that after 30 minutes of waiting, he contacted Rappi support “and they asked me to wait ten more minutes than they communicated with the client. 40 minutes had already passed, it was already 2 am and they told me that I had to return the order tomorrow or else I would have to pay for it… but what stupidity to return tomorrow when it is food and the food is spoiled”.

It is not the first story of delivery men to go viral on social networks, an example is the wife of a DiDi worker who ensures that every night she dines something different thanks to the orders that her partner cancels.
As expected, this confession generated a great debate on networks, where users shared all their experience on this type of platform.
