A study by the World Economic Forum reveals the rates of violence that are recorded against women within their homes.
The Secretariat of Citizen Security reported the number of femicides that were reported only during 2021 in Mexico.
Within the Women, Peace and Security Index, Norway and Yemen appear as the best and worst country to be a woman.
Ricardo Salinas exhibited a man who claimed to be womanto remain seated in pink seatswhich are designated for the exclusive use of women.
There are at least three projections, based on studies carried out worldwide and within Mexico, in which the condition of women in these areas is noted. The projections start with a study of World Economic Forumwhere the percentage of women who said they were victims of sexual or physical violence was expressed.
The projection explains that the region of the world where this type of event is greater is North Africa and the Middle East, with 45 percent. This region is followed by Southeast Asia, with 38 percent; North America is in third place with 32 percent and Latin America and the Caribbean in fifth place with 27 percent.
The scheme is not the best, especially when violence within a household against women is being measured.
In addition to these unfortunate figures, activities are detailed through which we can measure the challenges for women in Mexico, based on projections of the Ministry of Citizen Security.
The agency explains that during December 2021, the number of femicides in that month was 76, while in general, 966 fatal incidents were counted throughout the year.
Along with this scenario of what is happening for women in Mexico, there are international recommendations of the countries that are the best for women, as well as the worst nations to be. The study was in charge of Women, Peace and Security Index.
Norway, Finland and Iceland appear in the list as the main countries with the highest quality of life for women, while the worst rated nations for the quality of life they offer women are Afghanistan, Syria and Yemen.
Ricardo Salinas, seats and a man who decided to be a woman
Next to this stage, there is a video posted by Ricardo Salinas on his social networks. The billionaire makes fun of a man, who claims that on the day he was recorded, he decided to be a woman, as a way of arguing why he was sitting in seats reserved for women.
After his argument, Salinas questioned that the case was due to polarization in the country, lack of education and questioned his followers, so that they would notice who of those involved was correct: the man who did not stop sitting for women, the woman who defended the right to prevent men from using them or the woman defended the fact that the men of her family who accompanied her, sat on her.
The debate exposed by Salinas is an interesting case of how there is a great cultural debt in Mexico in the attention to women and in the condition that must be sought, to advance in equity, recognition and most importantly, in eliminating figures on femicides, lag by gender and videos where seats reserved for women are used.
😂😂😂 the play that the young man applied at the end of the video.
Who is wrong and why, in a country so polarized and lacking in education, who is right and who is acting wrong? https://t.co/IfUibypHGk
