In Spain, the company from Coruña Material Bitcoin, in just half an hour on Kickstarter, has managed to reach its goal. They sought to reach the figure of 5,000 euros in a month, but they have managed to far exceed this figure in just half an hour. This was reported to Cointelegraph en Español, through a statement.
As explained by this company from A Coruña, users are offered a Bitcoin wallet made of stainless steel (AISI 304L type). The plaque is laser engraved. Thus they affirmed that this portfolio is resistant to water and to high temperatures. They also noted that private keys are never digitally accessible.
According to MaterialBitcoin, The physical wallet of Material Bitcoin has been distributed, in addition to Spain, to countries such as Germany, Argentina, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
The Spanish company also explained that at no time do its engineers know the private keys of bitcoin. “It is an entire automated process, both the generation of the private key, as well as its serigraphy and the coating for greater privacy. A private key that is covered with a metal sticker that is glued by heat sealing”, they detailed.
“The private key is always randomly generated in an offline system. This prevents any type of attack that involves the theft of the end user’s credentials, “they added later.
