A leaker and insider of Manzana claims that one of his sources was able to test preliminary iPhone 14 Pro units and has posted the results via Twitter of what would be the first practical preview of the Apple cell phone.
According to the report on the website of BGR, the insider was also able to test an iPhone 14 Pro Max. The user in the social network is LeaksAppleProwell known for the leaks it makes of the products of the Cupertino, California company.
It is important to note that the information in this account is from a preliminary version, so it is not certain that these are the definitive iPhones 14 Pros.
What does the leak say about the iPhone 14 Pro?
The report confirms that the leaker source used both iPhone 14 Pro models. Regarding the new pill and hole design, he believes that “doesn’t add anything new” and “looks weird”.
He notes that the 14 Pro’s screen looks the same as the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max, but he didn’t test the always-on display feature. He added that Apple’s 14 Prox Max “feels like a brick.”
The following tweet marks the start of the leaker impressions thread.
A source has had hands-on time with iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max.
(thread)-The new pill+hole doesn’t add anything new. It looks different, but it pretty much works like the notch. Once you get used to it it’s “gone”.
-It’s thick. The Pro Max feels like a brick (as usual).

He added that the new 48-megapixel camera inside the huge module on the back has some “issues”, ensuring that the new sensor is “best in a smartphone if there is enough light”. In other words, the iPhone 14 Pro models need more optimization for night mode and that it does not improve the iPhone 13 Pro in this aspect, something that can be solved by Apple before launch.
-There are some issues with the camera system. The new 48MP sensor is “the best one in a smartphone if there’s enough light,” but there’s some optimization to do regarding night mode. Source says it’s worse than the 13 Pro in that field. There’s a substantial amount of noise.

The source also said that battery life should increase a couple of hours on the iPhone 14 Pro, since the thickness of the equipment should mean a powerful stack. Furthermore, he highlighted that speakers are better than previous Apple smartphone series.
-Source isn’t 100% sure about this, but battery life is going up by a couple hours on the 14 Pro apparently. There wasn’t enough time to properly test this, but that was my source’s impression.
-The speakers have been improved. More base and overall clearer audio. good job there

All reports agree that insiders who have access to preliminary tests of some iPhone 14 model are not using any definitive edition, so it is likely that leaks will continue to emerge that will not coincide with the phones that Apple will launch in September.
