Four years have passed since the launch of God of War, that game that we all believed was a reboot of the well-known Hack & Slash saga that made legend in the Playstation 2 and the PS3.
The reality, however, is that as we progressed through the experience of the game, the belief that the title was actually a kind of direct sequel to the original trilogy became more well-founded.
There are more than enough elements to reach that conclusion, although to be honest even passing the full game there are too many unanswered questions.
For the same reason, the maximum expectation now focuses on the new title and sequel to this adventure, God of War: Ragnarök. However, it has tested our patience by scheduling the launch of the game until the final stretch of this year 2022.
This has triggered a curious situation where many chose to revisit the game with a view to finishing it just in time for the release of the new title.
Baldur’s secret someone found in God of War
Said dynamic, in an unexpected and curious case, triggered that a person on Reddit, under the username of Navin7143Gamer, who had the idea of running the Photo Mode just before the climatic scene of the boss fight against Baldur.
We leave below for reference the original sequence with the natural order that users experience in any game session when we run into this enemy:
As we can see, it is an insane and epic sequence that constitutes one of the most exciting moments of the title due to the order in which things happen.
Baldur’s entrance to the scene is casual and merely circumstantial when Kratos and the character engage in this duel. But as we can see thanks to Navin7143Gamer’s publication, in reality, the guys from Santa Monica Studios positioned the antagonist outside the house even before the time of the lawsuit:
Baldur is there ready for the conflict, but really the only way to discover that detail was to do something as meticulous as activating Photo Mode at an unlikely time due to the natural order of the sequence.
This inevitably leads us to question what other details, winks or non-visible montages the studio would have planted within the game.
God of War: Ragnarök will go on sale on November 9 for PS4 and PS5.
