The Camino de Santiago 3.0 is the name with which ThinkingWeb3 presents an event in motion carried out to promote and bring Blockchain technology closer to the Camino de Santiago as the main stage in Spain.
“The attendees are the pilgrims who leave their mark in this cultural challenge of the Iberian Peninsula,” the organizers explained to Cointelegraph en Español.
During the month of August, through a traveling stand, conferences on Blockchain will be given, the technology will be promoted among businesses along the way, and different topics of interest will be addressed.
The focus will be on adoption, education from scratch, creation of wallets and what is necessary to get into blockchain technology, as well as publicizing real applications and uses, among walkers and the local population of the Cantabrian slope.
With the aim of publicizing the stories surrounding the famous path, there will be prizes with exclusive NFTs not only for walkers who participate in the “challenges”, but also for businesses and accommodations that take great care of those who find refuge there after a long day of pilgrimage.
The “emptied Spain” as the protagonist
“Through the Blockchain in movement event held in our country, it is intended to give voice to the emptied Spain. Get to know its enclaves, its eternal inhabitants, the technological needs they require and how the technological revolution can contribute to a better promotion of a key environment in our country”, explained the organizers.
“Our communication team will carry out different Podcasts live from each stop to learn more about the anonymous stories that inhabit the mountains, rivers and valleys that bathe the Cantabrian Sea. The Camino de Santiago 3.0 is a unique way of bringing Blockchain technology, NFTs and crypto in general closer to all ordinary people, who every day help maintain one of our most important traditions.
