The wound remains deep for many, but at least Cyberpunk 2077 it is in better condition than when it was first released. For all its flaws, and it still has a few, it’s one of the best open world RPGs out there, right up there with Fallout and Elden Ring.
However, one thing that seems to be missing in this futuristic sci-fi world is the flying cars. Fans might assume that the developer would have added them, but for now it was a modder who took care of it.
The YouTuber, LastKnownMeal, has shown a new mod of Cyberpunk 2077 which adds the expected flying cars to the game. Created by Jack Humbert, the add-on is called “Let There Be Flight,” and it even allows players to pilot bikes.
Perhaps the most intriguing mod is that it doesn’t just add flying vehicles, it implements an animation where the wheels rotate to become propellers. The video shows the player doing it in a Porsche 911, and even shows what happens when the boosters turn back into normal wheels.
There are many great mods for Cyberpunk 2077, but this is one that will probably catch the attention of fans. “Let There Be Flight” not only adds something that many have been waiting for since the game came out, but it’s an excellently crafted mod.
The LastKnownMeal video also goes over the installation instructions, which is very helpful for anyone who wants to try out Humbert’s mod, but isn’t too familiar with how to install custom plugins.
