The consumer narrated that before when the brand was called “Superama” if they had rings to leave a little moment to the “furry friends”
He also explained that even Oxxo stores have these spaces.
The Walmart Express consumer post was responded to by the brand’s Twitter account.
Social networks have become the best communication tool for people around the world. These platforms record various complaints on a daily basis from consumers of a brand, as is the case of one of the Walmart Express firm that used his Twitter account to complain to the brand that there are no adequate places in its establishments to leave their pets or “perrhijos” while they enter to make purchases in the store, but in the old firm Superama there were.
Currently, some brands have become pet-friendly, adapting their facilities or establishments so that consumers can visit them with their respective animals.
This trend has been gaining some popularity, due to the fact that consumers themselves are the ones who ask for a little more openness and acceptance for those who cannot leave their dogs at home.
According to data from the Research Department of Merca 2.0, in its Pets at Home 2019 study, it was discovered that 97 percent of the Mexicans interviewed at the time, accepted that they had a pet at home, which was considered a companion.
Also, most of the respondents, about 41 percent, agreed that they only had one pet and three types of animals were the most owned: dogs, 92 percent; cats, according to 21 percent of those interviewed and birds 3.5 percent.
Claim Walmart Express suitable places to leave their “perrhijos”
Through the social network Twitter, a user identified as @MatyCa4 shared a complaint against Walmart Express for its poor service by not having places to leave your pet while you were shopping at the establishment.
The Internet user narrated that before when the brand was called “Superama” they did have rings to leave a little moment for the “furry friends”
When I was Superama Narvarte, there were hoops to leave the furry friends for a moment now to @walmart_express remained in the memory, it turns out that @Tiendas_OXXO if you have it…@MoviendoBJ@PoderCiudadTV @nmas @supercivicosmx @ccnarvarteuno13 @Narvarte_ pic.twitter.com/d1p32zYW2l

Likewise, he mentions in his publication where he shares images of Walmart Express and ensures that even Oxxo stores have this service for pets.
“It turns out that @Tiendas_OXXO does have it,” reads his post.
The Walmart Express consumer’s post was responded to by the brand’s Twitter account, where the brand’s community manager shared: “Hello, we are sorry for the experience you are sharing with us, please tell us your details by direct message so that we can get in touch shortly.” I will contact you. We remain attentive to your information”.
As another Internet user left a message that says: “@walmart_express would help us provide the @narvarte community with some accessories outside their access to the store, so that their pets can wait there while they shop. Thank you”.
There are several of these types of complaints against brands for not being pet-friendly on social networks, but there are also others that are and win the hearts of their customers, as an example we have Cinemex that opened the doors of its rooms to perrhijos and the action was documented as part of the interest these animals have gained in the market.
This only reflects the opinion of the consumer and the conversation that it generates in the digital pulse, Therefore, Merca 2.0 requested the position of the brand in order to tell both versions of the story.; however, so far it has not been received. The note will be updated in case of a response.
