Panasonic expands its range of LCD televisions with the JX700 and JX600 series that are added to the models launched in 2021. New models for two new series of LED televisions equipped with Android TV as the operating system that arrive with the objective of competing in the mid-range of the market.
The new models are below the JX800 range that we already know and together with Android TV, the new models rely on Google Assistant integrated into the remote control, support for video streaming applications, 4K image with HDR and Dolby Atmos audio.
JX700 Series
Panasonic’s JX700 series televisions feature a nearly invisible frame design for models that are available in 75-, 65-, 55-, 50-, and 43-inch diagonals.
These models make use of a 4K Ultra HD LED panel that is compatible with various HDR (High Dynamic Range) formats such as HDR10, Dolby Vision and HLG. Options to take advantage of the content of platforms such as Disney +, Netflix, HBO, Movistar, Amazon Prime Video or YouTube.
Along with image enhancements, Panasonic has introduced Dolby Atmos support on these models. Models that have four HDMI 2.0 inputs and a built-in Chromecast that allows users to connect their phone, tablet or laptop to send or share movies, programs, applications or games.
JX600 Series
The new models of the JX600 series have 4K Ultra HD resolution LED LCD panels and, like the JX700 series, have Android TV as the operating system, which makes them compatible with applications such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube or Twitch. Models coming in 65, 58, 55, 50 and 43 inches
The JX600 series allows the use of voice controls via Google Assistant or Amazon’s Alexa, so that the TV can be controlled with any compatible device.
A range focused for use with video games, by having the Game Mode, which improves the settings of the screen to adapt to the intensity of the game, reducing latency in the image.
This range is compatible with HDR standards such as Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG and built-in Dolby Atmos audio processing to take advantage of object-based audio from movies and video games.
Price and availability
Panasonic’s JX700 series TVs will arrive in diagonals of 75, 65, 55, 50 and 43 inches They arrive in silver and metallic black starting in the fall. For their part, the JX600 series televisions will be available after the summer with a dark titanium finish in 65, 58, 55, 50 and 43 inches. Of the prices for now, we have no further information.
