Theater: The Kings of Impulse or The Party of the Fourth Horseman of the Apocalypse
Directed by the poet Alejandro Massa Varela, this staging recounts the life of a young couple lost in a routine that makes them miserable. With imperfect characters, “too human”, themes such as fear of loneliness and lost dreams are portrayed as life progresses.
With the performances of Natalia Lara, Emmanuel Pavía and Erandi Zenil, The Kings of Impulse or The Party of the Fourth Horseman of the Apocalypse It is an ironic work like death, in which it is personified as an omnipresent witness that, like love, is capable of leading us to the silence necessary to recover the meaning of life.
“The work is a space of magical or dreamlike realism where death appears dancing as a diffuse entity. As Heidegger said, the woman and the man are be to death Are we alone like our own abyss or is there a bigger space where someone else fits?
Alejandro Massa Varela reflects.
