Today’s has been an intense morning, since an alleged leak by Tom Henderson has shown us that there would be up to 20 Ubisoft games to be announced and released in the short and/or medium term, which could mean a great incentive for fans of the brand when going to video game stores to buy their games.
In this way, names like Immortal: Fenix Rising, Assassin’s Creed, Beyond & Evil, Skulls and Bones, Prince of Persia, The Crew, among many others, have emerged. However, the most astute will have noticed that there has been a great absencesince in this list not the slightest mention of Star Wars has been madethis being a long-awaited title and that, against all odds, was not seen in the past E3.
We will have to wait seated to see something new from Star Wars made by Ubisoft
Given this, Henderson himself has dispelled the doubts, pointing out that he has not included Star Wars in the list of games because it probably you have to wait a long time for its releasebeing 2025 the year in which we could see it in stores, although he emphasizes that this is in the best case.
Note that the title was announced in January 2021 pointing out that it was in an initial phase of development, for which four years to complete it is not so unlikely if we take into account the extensive development times that are seen today.
Also, as for the title itself, it must be said that it is the first Star Wars game developed by Ubisoftafter the brand has been in the hands of EA for the last few years without much success except for Respawn’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
Thus, we only know that it will be an original and different story to which we have seen before, being developed by Ubisoft Massive, those responsible for the series The Division. For all this, we will have to be patient so that we can even see the first glimpse of this new title.
