Something that few expected is happening, because in addition to the release date, we already have a Lord of the Rings Gollum new trailer. Ever since it was announced in 2019, LOTR Gollum has been somewhat of a mystery. The game was going to come out in 2021, but it was delayed for developers Daedalic Entertainment to continue working on it. The game is being created in conjunction with Middle-earth enterprises and is scheduled for a September 1 release.
LOTR Gollum takes place during the first chapters of the first part of the trilogy by JRR Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring and tells the story of how Gollum sets out on a journey through Middle-earth to retrieve the Ring of Power, stolen by Bilbo Baggins during the events of The Hobbit. This new Lord of the Rings Gollum trailer shows us more about Middle-earth, and gives us a look at some other pretty cool elements.

New trailer for Lord of the Rings Gollum
Daedalic Entertainment and Nacon have released a new trailer for Lord of the Rings Gollum. In the short trailer, players will see the main character stalking through dark mines and through narrow ravines to escape orcs, men and even the terrifying Ringwraiths in their quest to reunite with their beloved. The game shows that Gollum not only has to tread carefully to avoid enemies, but is also fighting his former Hobbit self, Smeagol.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum studio has been bought by another publisher
Throughout the new Lord of the Rings Gollum trailer, players see familiar faces like the elves of Mirkwood and the orcs of Mordor. It’s up to the player how to handle key moments, as LOTR: Gollum expects players to manage Gollum’s mental health and make decisions on how to approach any situation. fans can also get a first look at faithful Gandalf the Gray in actionalthough it seems that the magician has given up his traditional gray clothing and has donned a blue robe.
Unlike Shadow of Mordor, which focused on a huge open world with a deep combat system, Daedalic has opted for a More story-focused action RPG, relying instead on Smeagol’s cunning. Though at the moment it’s unclear if LOTR: Gollum will avoid combat altogether or if there will be some sort of boss fight sprinkled throughout the adventure.
