We still do not know when Samsung will present its new generation of tablets, although everything indicates that it will not be before 2022. As a starter, details about them are beginning to appear in the form of renders and specifications. First the Galaxy Tab S8 was leaked, now it is the turn of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.
According to this leak, the Tab S8 series will have three members this generation: Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8 + and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. This latest model will be the largest of all, with 14.6-inch screen and notch, to house the front camera.
The Galaxy Tab with notch
OnLeaks has created another batch of its detailed renders that reflect the design that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra would have, according to the information available to it. The design itself is quite similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, with straight edges, a dual lens rear camera and a magnetic strip for the S Pen at the rear.
The difference is in the size, because while the Galaxy Tab S8 would mount, according to the leaks, an 11-inch screen, on the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra the diagonal would be 14.6 inches. The middle model, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 +, is expected with a 12.4-inch screen.
This screen would have reduced edges to such an extent that Samsung would choose to include a notch on one of the sides of the screen, where the front camera would be located. In principle it will be the only Tab S8 with notch: the rest would mount the front camera on the frame.
The only specifications that are included in this filtration are the dimensions of 325.8 x 207.9 x 5.4 mm and what emerges from the images (as there is no minijack). For reference, the filtered measurements of the Galaxy Tab S8 are 253.75 x 165.30 x 6.24mm, considerably smaller. Still no date scheduled for its launch.
