Renault has presented its new 100% electric car in society. The long-awaited electric alternative to the iconic Renault Megane is already a reality. The new Renault Megane E-Tech Electric It can already be configured in Spain. Now, there is an important detail. While the signature of the rhombus allows us to venture through their website and configure a unit according to our preferences, prices are not yet available.
The new Mégane E-Tech Electric has debuted as part of the Munich Motor Show 2021. Renault has confirmed that it will be available for order in February 2022 and marketing will officially start from March of that year. Once the starting gun for its commercialization approaches, the rest of the missing details will be announced, such as the indicated prices.

The autonomy of the new Renault Mégane E-Tech Electric
Regarding the propulsion system, Renualt will allow you to choose between two battery sizes. A basic of 40 kWh and a superior of 60 kWh. In the first case, the autonomy under the WLTP cycle is 300 kilometers, while in the second, this figure increases to 470 km in the best of cases. The vehicle is powered by a single engine whose power is 96 kW (130 hp) for the 40 kWh and 160 kW (218 hp)
for the 60 kWh respectively.
Versions of the new Renault Mégane E-Tech Electric
It is important to note that the new Mégane E-Tech Electric has V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid) technology and a new generation of heat pump. Charging times will of course vary depending on the outlet used. Serial production will take place in Douai (France).
