With the constant and hasty evolution of the environment in which society develops, finding the means to cover the needs that arise with it is essential for its healthy development. Thus, those responsible for education have taken on the task of transforming their models in order to adapt to the requirements of the current era.
Although this transformation is a phenomenon that has occurred naturally over the years, the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the search for new measures that enable the construction of a more flexible, applicable, as well as moldable formation.
To this extent, the education sector has focused its efforts on creating programs aimed at providing greater freedom to its students, that is, that people interested in study for a bachelor’s degree or complete their studies can do so over time in their favor, while they acquire the best tools to boost their growth depending on their future projections.
The importance of knowing how to move forward
The foregoing resulted in the creation of the new Executive Degrees of the Banking and Commercial School, which were specially designed for those professionals who already have a certain trajectory, but they need to strengthen their knowledge to continue climbing both in the workplace through calls hard and soft skills.
Likewise, and in response to the new challenges of the present, which range from the way of organizing a business to the implementation of technological resources for the benefit of companiesthese degrees were designed to provide a comprehensive vision to anyone who has the intention of continuing to improve and discover.
In the words of María T. Almeraya, Head of Curriculum Design at the Banking and Commercial School, such programs were conceived to “That they may be able to manage, but also to innovate, to solve problems around the supply of goods and services; that may have elements to analyze and propose improvements in the operating processes”.
Under these objectives, the aforementioned Institution has paid full attention to identifying what are the pillars that govern the business environment today. For this reason, it has forged solid alliances with the productive sector to help it recognize, through permanent dialogue and active listening, how it can optimize the content that is offered, as stated by Teresa Quintana, Academic Director of the Banking School and Commercial: “We have to see what knowledge is emerging, what traditions have to change, what attitudes we have to form in our students so that when they join the labor market or when they decide to grow or innovate their own company, they do so with the certainty that It will result in a personal, professional and, of course, economic benefit.”
An unprecedented step
Definitely, executive degrees have become a benchmark for promoting talent in a scenario where competitiveness is the central axis for the performance of any activity. Hence, the EBC has contemplated the range of factors that motivate a person to complete their academic training, or to opt for one that adds value to their curriculum.
Consequently, he created the Bachelor of Business, a novel proposal designed to adapt to any pace of life, complement the experience already acquired and, as Teresa Quintana mentioned: “to satisfy the concerns of those for whom employability is not an option and who want to contribute to the country from their own trench”. This translates into an interdisciplinary product, where the subject will be in charge of selecting which subjects they will study according to their interests and goals, and in which they will be able to define which route they want to take to obtain their degree in less than three years.
As an additional advantage, there is the opportunity to obtain up to five certificates with which organizations can verify the capacity of collaborators or future collaborators, even before completing the bachelor’s degree itself.
“In the short term they are going to be able to have, with a certain group of subjects, a credential, an internal certificate that is supporting them or that is endorsing that they already have certain knowledge and other skills, both technical-professional and permanent, that they they need to continue their development,” María T. Almeraya added to the conversation.
Finally, this program was structured based on substantive knowledge to provide the main instruments that give way for the student to set the course of his path focused on always providing results that transcendthat are true differentiators in the business world.
In this way, the Banking and Commercial School maintains its commitment to continue inspiring, through specialized training, a society eager to participate in the changes that the community requires.
