Here we have a new mobile with a folding screen, although it surely will not come out of China. But it’s worth taking a look at what’s new from the pioneers.
The acquaintance mole Evan Blass has been very active this weekend. A few hours ago we talked about one of its leaks, the laptop with a built-in tablet from Lenovo, and here we have another: the Royole FlexPai 3 folding screen laptop.
Maybe now companies like Samsung, Motorola or Huawei lead the market for mobile phones with flexible screens, but the first mobile with a folding screen in history was the Royole FlexPai, presented in 2018.
Yesterday Evan Blass wakefulness the first filtered image of the Royole FlexPai 3, with a completely different design from the previous ones.
As we see in the opening photo, the new Royole FlexPai 3 It looks completely different from its predecessor, the Royole FlexPai 2.
The original quadruple upright front camera has disappeared, replaced by a square rear camera, more conventional.
Strangely, the four cameras have been reduced to two in the new model. It is worth looking at the hole in the housing opposite the cameras, which serves so that the lenses do not rub against the metal when the mobile is folded.
This tells us that this model can be folded both inwards, like a book, and outwards.
The FlexPai 2 used the front vertical cameras as rear cameras when folding the phone.
With the design of FlexPai 3 there is no front camera, that’s why they have added a periscope camera, which can be seen in the leaked photo.
As for the hardware, we know little. According to TENAA, it will have a 7.2-inch screen (unfolded) and a 3,360 mAh battery, which seems quite little for a mobile with such a large screen.
As we have discussed, it is most likely that the Royale FlexPai 3 only sold in China, except surprise.
