OnePlus is expected to release an updated version of the OnePlus 9R in October but really, to this day, there is no official word on the next phone. However, there are already too many leaks and rumors on the Net to think that this is not a phone that will become a reality sooner rather than later.
According to a post by Weibo, the brand’s next smartphone will have the same 120 Hz screen and many of the features of the OnePlus 9R; However, it will come with an updated camera configuration, as it will choose to mount the Sony IMX766 50 MP sensor as the main lens that will also be compatible with OIS, something that was not present in its predecessor. Other sensors on the phone will include a 16MP Sony IMX481 ultra-wide angle lens and a 2MP black and white sensor. Up front, it will feature a 16MP selfie camera that is expected to be placed in a hole punched in the display itself.
Following what was seen in the previous model, the logical thing is that the phone boasts a 6.55-inch AMOLED FHD + display with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Obviously, there will be an in-display fingerprint sensor again for added security.
Performance wise, it will be the job of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 accompanied by 12GB of RAM and up to 256G of onboard storage. Also, the smartphone will run OxygenOS 12, based on Android 12, if the brand scheme has not yet abandoned its own operating system in favor of ColorOS. Other features will include a 4,500 mAh battery with 65 W charging technology, NFC, dual stereo speaker, and support for 5G networks.
OnePlus 9RT price
According to the leak on the Chinese social network, the next OnePlus 9RT sIt will go on sale in China for 2,999 yuan, a little less than 400 euros for the base model of 8 GB + 128 GB and 3,299 yuan (around 420 euros) for the model of 8 GB + 256 GB. Lastly, the 12GB + 256GB high-end storage variant will be priced at 3,599 yuan (about 450 euros).
Now we only need to beg the brand to bring this powerful mid-range to our country, although with the OnePlus Nord 2 just presented, it is not something simple.
