“Let’s do this seventh anniversary even better, do you think? We are delighted to share that the Next Gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is planned to launch in the fourth quarter of 2022. See you on the Path, warlocks!” commented CD Projekt RED. The title, originally scheduled for the second quarter of 2022, was delayed indefinitely after the Polish studio took the development away from its until then managers, a Russian subsidiary of Saber Interactive who lost the support of CD Projekt when the invasion of Ukraine began a few weeks ago.
Why is The Witcher 3 next-gen patch delayed?
At that time CD Projekt could not offer a new release date because they had to review development status to get an idea of when we would have him among us. It seems that time has come and that we can finally enjoy the next generation version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in this very 2022although on a date that still has to be specified later.
