The engines of the new Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace
With regard to the mechanical offer, Volkswagen offers a wide selection of gasoline and diesel engines when buying the new Tiguan Allspace. In gasoline we have a 1.5-liter TSI 150 hp engine which can be associated with a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed dual-clutch DSG automatic transmission. In both cases with front wheel drive. One step above is a 190 hp 2.0 TSI engine exclusively available with DSG automatic transmission and a 4Motion traction system.
Diesel options are greater. The access step is starred by a 2.0-liter TDI 150 hp engine available with both transmissions and in both front-wheel drive and 4Motion drive. Manual transmission is only offered with front-wheel drive. And as a more performance alternative for this type of fuel, there is a 200 hp 2.0 TDI engine with DSG gearbox and 4Motion traction.
