Porsche Seville has invited us to discover its mobile center, which allows it to travel to cities where they do not have fixed facilities. It has also presented the Porsche Taycan GTS with 598 CV and 504 km of approved autonomy.
The Porsche Mobile Center is a mobile dealership that allows you to visit the entire Spanish geography. It is made up of two 9-meter trailers, which after parking can become a Porsche Center, with space to meet and serve customers. The benefits of a device like this are obvious, move and be present where the Porsche Center has no fixed installations.
In this case, Porsche Sevilla has invited us to see it and learn about its benefits. The dealer established in the Andalusian capital has influence in the areas of Cádiz, Huelva, Córdoba, Jerez de la Frontera and, as usual, also has clients in those cities. Thanks to the Porsche Mobile Center, the dealership can get closer to its customers.
The concept is interesting, since we may be seeing the future or the evolution of certain dealers, not only Porsche, but other brands. Buying habits change and this could be a good adaptation by dealers to contain costs.
In addition, it makes it possible for the citizens of the locations where the Porsche Mobile Center is temporarily established to approach it and learn more about the brand, its exhibited vehicles or even with prior reservation until trying them out. In this case we have turned to Sanlucar de Barrameda where clients, followers of the brand and part of the local press have been able to test the range of sports cars from the German manufacturer, made up of models not only with a combustion engine but also hybrids and 100% electric versions.
Porsche Taycan GTS debuts in Andalusia
Another benefit of these mobile installations is that it will allow you to bring new features to the brand, as has been the case, where Porsche Seville has taken the opportunity to present the Porsche Taycan GTS. The intermediate variant of this 100% electric sports saloon, which may be the most balanced version of the range. We were at its presentation in Mallorca, where we tested the Berlina bodywork and the Sport Turismo bodywork, and it is the first time we have seen it on the peninsula.
The electric motors on both axles that give it all-wheel drive condition offers a maximum power of 598 CV thanks to the Launch Control function (if not, you have to settle for 517 CV) which allows it to reach 100 km/h from standstill in 3.7 seconds. On the other hand, thanks to its electric battery under the passenger compartment floor, the approved autonomy is 504 km. A figure that allows us to travel with peace of mind.
The initials GTS are especially attractive not because of the performance associated with them, but because of the equipment that usually comes as standard. In this case, the model has a black finish on the lower part of the front bumper, rear-view mirrors and on the trim that delimits the glass surface. And speaking of glass, you can optionally equip a panoramic roof with micro crystals that, when receiving electric current, become translucent in segments chosen by the driver.
The 20-inch black wheels that you see in the photos are part of the standard equipment, as well as an interior wrapped in alcantara and topped by state-of-the-art instrumentation and multimedia system.
