In addition to different routers such as the Archer AX20 or the Deco X90, TP-Link also sells other solutions to improve the Internet connection in our homes. Among them, we find, for example, Wi-Fi coverage extenders, a category that just welcomed the new TP-Link RE550.
Thanks to three adjustable external antennas, this equipment promises to expand WiFi coverage in an area of up to 1,115 square meters. In addition, it allows you to keep more devices connected at the same time with its dual bands of 600 Mbps at 2.4 GHz and 1300 Mbps at 5 GHz.
More coverage, more speed and fewer cuts
TP-Link’s new RE550 WiFi range extender promises a coverage that covers more than 1115 m2 thanks to its three adjustable external antennas and Mesh technology, which allows the signal to be extended through walls and floors that tend to weaken the signal.
Plus, its AC1900 dual-band WiFi reaches up to 1.9 Gbps simultaneous (600 Mbps in 2.4GHz and 1300 Mbps in 5GHz) and the integrated gigabit port acts as a wireless adapter to connect a wired device to your network at Gigabit speed.
It also has a smart signal light that shows signal strength, includes an AP mode to generate a new WiFi access point, and is compatible with TP-Link’s OneMesh technology, so the RE550 extender can be added to other OneMesh devices to create a mesh network at home. And all this can be easily managed from the Tether App (iOS / Android).
The TP-Link Wi-Fi Range Extender RE550 is now available in stores at a recommended price of 79.99 euros.
