Presented in the middle of last fall and with prices from the beginning of the year, the Skoda Karoq Facelift 2022 has just started production at the Czech factories in Mladá Boleslav and Kvasiny to reach European dealers in mid-spring.
After a long year of testing, the Czech manufacturer presented the Skoda Karoq Facelift 2022 in the middle of last November, opening the order books from the beginning of December. In Spain, the prices were announced just two weeks after the start of the new year, but it has not been until now that Skoda has started production of the renewed SUV.
A fundamental piece in its range of products that concentrates high sales figures, which is why the Karoq is manufactured in two facilities in the Czech Republic: the headquarters in Mladá Boleslav and the factory in Kvasiny. The first units of the Karoq that will arrive at the dealerships are already coming out of both in mid-spring, around April.
Skoda Karoq Facelift 2022, a safe value
The Czech firm has not beat around the bush in a model that is a reference in the accounts of the brand, and in the market. Although the Octavia is the compact equivalent, each has proven to have a well-defined market. The Karoq Facelift 2022 has been renewed with a package of novelties that affect all planes, with improvements on the exterior that give it a more sophisticated look and in line with the change experienced by the older brotherthe Kodiaq.
The novelties have also reached the interior, with more equipment at all levels that have been profoundly revised with a restructuring. Now, the endowment is much richer from the “Active” finish including new optional packages with the most demanded elements at a premium, and that will come especially to the “Style” and “Sportline”, and to which the intelligent solutions of “Simply Clever” that make the brand unique are also added.
In just a few weeks, those interested will have an offer composed of 17 versions, between finishes and engines. The updated compact SUV suits everyone with a range that stays true to combustion, with three petrol options – the three cylinders of 1.0 liters and 115 CV, and the four cylinders of 1.5 and 2.0 liters with 150 and 190 CV– Available with 6-speed manual or dual-clutch automatic gearbox and 7-speed DSG. In diesel, the offer includes the engine 2.0 TDI Evo with 116 and 150 hp, and the same previous transmissions. In addition, only the most powerful, and automatic, can be configured with all-wheel drive.
