A new patch has arrived in the Elden Ring, which means that the Middle Lands undergo changes of all kinds. The update 1.07 it separates the damage scaling for PvE and PvP combat, but the official notes hide much more hidden secrets.
Sennoutantei, a dataminer for FromSoftware titles, has revealed that the new files contain references to features related to the inclusion of ray tracing. In this way, the arrival of much-needed technology could be closer than ever.

Ray tracing links are now in the game files, so ray tracing support is definitely being worked on and on its way.
DLC on the way?
Great news that we hope will arrive as soon as possible, but the real surprise comes with the reference to items related to a new DLC. Each scenario is referenced with an identifier in the script files. Elden Ring and what is striking is that now two more have been added that are not present in the work.
The IDs are m20 and m45. Notably, IDs can imply what kind of area a map is. m30 maps are side dungeons, m60 is the overworld, and the “main” areas are currently m10 through m19, which means m20 could be a Legacy Dungeon. m45 is interesting because there are no maps in that range. https://t.co/uaN2nXC4eD pic.twitter.com/Wdv2ybW9BA

The IDs are m20 and m45. In particular, the identifications may imply what type of area a map is. The m30 maps are secondary dungeons, m60 is the underworld, and the “main” areas are currently m10 to m19, meaning m20 could be a Legacy Dungeon. m45 is interesting because there are no maps in that range.
As we see in the image, m20 is present but it does not reveal exactly which Midland scenario it refers to. On the other hand, new hairstyle models whose identifier in the files contain the DLC letters have also been discovered. However, it should be noted that there is an in-game emote that already displays said letters, so nothing is certain.
There are a bunch of files added to the 1.07 build that are hypothesized to relate to upcoming DLC. There were a number of player hairstyle models added which are marked with the tag “DLC01”. Important to note that the same tag was applied to the “DLC” of The Ring gesture. pic.twitter.com/3WxK9cif8W
