The Chevrolet Silverado HD High Country 2024 has been hunted in the middle of the street. The colossal General Motors pick-up has been surprised in tests in the United States. Spy photos show the prototype from all angles, including a glimpse of the interior.
Our photographers in the United States have come across an interesting prototype of one of General Motors’ new pick-ups. At first glance it is one more model of the North American giant, but those responsible for development have tried to deceive us, and it is not a GMC Sierra for what it tries to appear, but the new 2024 Chevrolet Silverado HD High Country.
A significant update to the Chevrolet model, with features that are shared with the previous model, such as the characteristic front bumper of the Chevrolet Silverado or the location of the badge on the front fender. The spy photos also show some new headlights, with a signature of LED daytime running light similar to that of the Chevrolet Coloradoflush with the radiator grille crossbar, while the fog lights have now been housed in the front bumper.

A new image ahead, but what from behind it still shows the Chevrolet genes, and a set of factors that clearly show that it is this model and not the GMC one. The snapshots also allow a glimpse of the interior, uncovered in camouflage. The instrument cluster is located under the usual sun visor, while on the center console there is a screen for the multimedia system that will reach 13.4 inches.
One of the largest mounted on a model of the brand, and of GM, and what has a reason: it is one of the most exclusive finishes such as the «High Country». In fact, the interior shows the shift lever on the steering column, two-tone leather seatsthe steering wheel lined with the same material and even decorative wood trim can be seen.
The new Chevrolet Silverado HD High Country 2024 will be one of the great novelties on the other side of the Atlantic in the second half of the year, although sales will start in 2023. The novelties will be completed with a review of the imposing “Duramax L5P V8” diesel engine which, with 6.6 litres, will offer a maximum power greater than 500 hp. The other option is the V8 L8T block with the same displacement, which will not present any changes other than the adoption of the 10-speed automatic gearbox.
