Xiaomi patents are getting out of hand. Lets Go Digital has just released a prototype of the company that is truly spectacular. It is a mobile with a double screen, a giant camera, a transparent back and with hardly any bezels. It is difficult to get an idea of what the device is like if you do not take a look at the images presented by Xiaomi in the patent and the renders created by Lets Go Digital. We do not know how likely it is to see this device for sale, but we can say that we would like to have it.
The strangest thing about Xiaomi is in this mobile with double screen
Xiaomi has wanted to take the double screen to another level with this device. The main screen also houses the sides of the device and reaches almost to the rear. A thin bezel separates the front screen from the rear, which has hardly any bezels and occupies the entire lower area of the rear.
The upper area is dedicated to a large single-sensor camera and a clear glass that shows components. Taking a look at the overall design we can only say that it is spectacular. It may not be practical or useful on a daily basis, but it is an engineering work that we would like to see.
The front and rear screen are not the same, but they are separated by thin bezels that can be seen in the renders. The front camera has no place since selfies can be taken with the main camera and the secondary screen.
The large ring that surrounds the camera sensor shows that this device would have very interesting camera technology, since much of the design focuses on this section. Its front part would be occupied by the screen and thin bezels on the top and bottom.
We can not say much more about this Xiaomi mobile that still does not think about seeing the light. It is a patent, so the company is only offering an idea and does not mean that it becomes a real smartphone. Do we want it to? Yes, he will do it? Chances are not.
What do you think about this type of designs? Would you like to have a Xiaomi mobile like this?
