The Mexican National Team has a new sponsorJosé Romano, General Director of Sales of the FMF, announced the new commercial collaboration, for four years, with Caliente, brand that sponsors the 18 teams of Liga MX. The new commercial alliance is given for the 2026 World Cup, where El Tri will play at home.
This world cup will take place in Mexico, the United States and Canada, first time in history that three countries will hostwith a total of 104 games.
At a press conference, Fernanda Sainz, Caliente’s Digital Marketing Director, highlighted “it is the ideal time to launch this commercial project, especially since the Mexican National Team will play at home in the next world cup.”
Caliente will make its debut as a sponsor of El Tri this Wednesday, March 23, when the Mexican National Team faces Suriname, where Diego Cocca will debut at the helm of the Tri. While next Sunday, March 26, the Tri’s first home game will take place, when they measure against Jamaica at the Azteca Stadium. Said match will be the first that Diego Cocca will lead at the Coloso de Santa Úrsula and the second in charge of the team. Both parties belong to the Concacaf Nation League.
