The Mercedes-AMG E 63 Saloon passes through the hands of the German coach. A new special tuning for a model that is already at the end of its commercial life and awaits a replacement that will still take a few years to arrive. Carbon fiber, a special aesthetic and a lot of power are the weapons of the new MANHART ER 800.
MANHART continues to unleash its imagination, and developing new projects that increase the sportiness of the most extreme models of luxury brands. The last to join the select group of the German coach is the Mercedes-AMG E 63, now renamed as MANHART ER 800.
Based on the body variant of the E-Class Saloon, the tuning specialist has impressed its qualities through looks and performance. The exterior aesthetics are presented in the usual combination of black and gold, with the bodywork painted in matte black color with the traditional silky look by MANHART and decorated with the gold adhesive stripes that run across the bonnet, boot lid and door panel sills.
The MANHART ER 800 is a very exclusive Mercedes-AMG E 63
But, in addition, a gold filament highlights the air intakes of the front bumper, the edge of the alloy wheels and the area of the exhausts. The imposing alloy wheels reproduce the finish of the exterior, with an imposing 21-inch mounts, mounted on 255/30 ZR21 front tires and 295/25 ZR21 rear. The mount reveals a brake system worthy of a supercar. Its composite material discs reduce the weight of the unsprung masses, counting on 405 mm diameter on the front axle.
In addition, the preparer offers a special module for the air suspension that reduces body-to-ground clearance by 20-30 millimetersjust enough to offer improved driving dynamics and a very low center of gravity, given the significant improvement in performance. The MANHART ER 800 takes the AMG E 63 to a new level, surpassing the BRABUS 800 itself.
The imposing 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine, which develops maximum outputs of 571 and 612 hp in the S version, is not enough for a MANHART customer, who is looking not only for aesthetic distinction, but also for performance. Thus, the propeller has undergone a thorough revision, replacing turbochargers, intercooler, intake manifold and exhaust, also receiving a software in the ECU control unit that varies the injection map. Although the benefits are unknown, maximum power has risen to 809 hp and engine torque to 1,070 Nm. A whole beast of which only five units will be produced.
