- Through a statement, it was announced that José Alberto Terán, CEO of Terán TBWA, and Yuri Alvarado are in charge of both the commission and the committee, respectively.
- The objective is to promote actions and industry standards that promote better competition
The Alliance for the Strategic Value of Brands (AVE) is integrating the Honor and Ethics Commission and the Best Practices Guidelines Committee.
The objective of this Honor and Ethics Commission is to preserve the integrity, the union of the Association and, as its name indicates, maintain the good name of the sector and of the Association itself, under the highest indices of honor and ethics.
Through a statement, the names of those who will lead both the Honor and Ethics Commission, as well as the Best Practices Guidelines Committee, were announced.
“In accordance with the Statutes, the Board of Directors has the responsibility of appointing the President of said Commission, as well as four more associates to integrate it.
Based on the foregoing, I have the great pleasure to inform you that, by unanimous decision and in recognition of his great career, as well as for his high professional and moral values, the Board of Directors has appointed José President of the Honor and Ethics Commission Alberto Terán, CEO of Terán TBWA.
On the other hand, the Board of Directors created the Committee of Guidelines and Best Business Practices, whose objective is to promote actions and industry standards that promote better competition and respect for the value of the work carried out by all players in the AVE ecosystem.
Unanimously, the Board agreed to appoint Yuri Alvarado, Partner of Alvarado Molina to chair this Committee, in recognition of his extensive experience and commitment to the best business practices to have a better ecosystem.
We are sure that their work, as well as that of the members of both commissions, will contribute to maintaining the high values of honor, ethics and quality of the group and its associates ”.
The current times, of greater dynamism in the business world, require practices that remember, in some way, that the market is for everyone or, as the saying would say, “the sun rises for everyone.”
The market today is more dynamic, which is why, many times, strategic alliances are required and used in order not to decline.
In the same way, this dynamism, together with constant volatility, represent different challenges for companies to which they must adapt and, in some way, this is what the AVE comes to propose with this creation of the Honor and Ethics Commission and the Best Practices Guidelines Committee, in order to carry out a much more solid presence and, above all, appealing to its basic principles since the days when AVE was AMAP, and that is “to promote the power of brands to add value to the economy and people ”.
Within this framework, there will be another series of appointments that will be added to both the Honor and Ethics Commission and the Best Practice Guidelines Committee, which will be announced later.
Undoubtedly, these actions that AVE is taking speak of the competitiveness that exists in the market from different sectors, a market that, given the speed with which the digital world moves, requires continuous improvements and, above all, a scenario where market freedom flows naturally.
