Based on the Renault 4EVER Trophy Presented at the 2022 Paris Motor Show, the modern reinterpretation of the R4 has been stripped of all the details typical of concept cars to reflect a design closer to production, highlighting a new front assembly that groups in one piece the grill converted into a closed panel and the headlights. The most modern lighting technology will make it possible to clearly identify the design of the old French utility vehicle.
Logically, its proportions will grow to offer greater habitability, with a larger wheelbase, which will not prevent offering a very similar lateral design that will remind the original R4, but cleaner thanks to the door handles integrated in the panels and the rear ones in the rear pillar. Until the sloping tailgate is a clear reminiscence, complemented by a floating style roof that will put a sportier note. The square wheel arches and the large alloy wheels will add the style of the SUV.
The future Renault 4 will be based on the CMF-EV platform of the French brand, sharing the propulsion train with the also new Renault 5 that will arrive a year earlier, in 2024. The entrails will have the “E-Tech Electric” technology developed by the French, with a new battery capable of offering a maximum autonomy of 400 kilometersand an electric motor with a maximum power of 100 kW, equivalent to 136 CV. Enough for the mobility of a large number of clients.
