All My Hero Academia fans have seen how its protagonist has been making his way through the final battle between heroes and villains in recent chapters, and the creator behind the series shared a rather bittersweet comment as he recalled how far he’s come. the series now that there is a target in sight.
Something that seems quite curious to us is that this saga will end very soon. Although the fandom of the series hopes that it will turn out differently and the series can be extended a little longer, it seems that Horikoshi is sticking with this plan for the series finale.
Along with the release of My Hero Academia Volume 34 on shelves in Japan, the creator shared a bittersweet message with fans (as seen and translated by @aitaikimochi on Twitter) as he wonders how much longer he will be able to draw the character now than the grand finale seems to be more and more in sight. It looks like fans will have to prepare even more.
“I feel like I can finally see the goal in sight. It’s quite a strange feeling to get to this point. In the past, I just drew without worrying, but now I wonder how many more times I can draw these characters.
Change is terrifying as yours to grow old. Well, I really shouldn’t dwell on that! Until the next volume then!” It’s quite a thoughtful statement as the creator recalls not only his time with the series, but how much his own personal life has changed along with it. It’s one more hallmark of the fact that the ending it really is close.
With the final war between the heroes and the villains, and new indications that the end of the series is fast approaching, there are plenty of ideas that fans would like to see continue in this franchise. Whether or not Horikoshi decides to do so, there are plenty of potential avenues to explore that this series hasn’t had time to flesh out.
