From Electro and Doctor Octopus, to the possible return of Mysterio, Green Goblin, Sandman and more, Peter Parker will have a dark picture, plus everyone knows his secret identity as the friendly neighbor of New York.
Without further ado, discover the confirmed villains for Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Doctor Octopus
The great return confirmed for this film is that of Alfred Molina, who will once again play Doctor Otto Octavius, better known as Doctor Octopus in the third film of the wall-crawler in the MCU.
Even the appearance of Alfred Molina for this film looks similar to what we saw in Spider-Man 2, where the British actor took the spotlight as the antagonist.
Electro
The first villain to confirm his return through social networks is Jamie Foxx, who will once again play Max Dillon, the shy electrical engineer who, after an accident in the Oscorp building, becomes Electro.
“Tell Spidey I’m back. Super excited to be part of the new installment of Marvel’s new Spider-Man. I can’t wait for everyone to see the new one. And in this I will not be blue. But 100% damn“Said Foxx, who could wear a different suit than the one we saw in The Amazing Spider-Man 2
Sandman
The first trailer released weeks ago sees Spidey under a lethal attack from Electro, but a mass of land appears to protect the arachnid. Internal sources at Sony mention that this mound of dirt could be Sandman.
The last time we saw Flint Marko, played by Thomas Haden Church was in the plot of Spider-Man 3, where the villain would have chosen to reform, despite the fact that his little daughter needs medical attention.
Green goblin
Another of the villains that could be once again in Spidey’s orbit is the Green Goblin, and proof of this is the pumpkin bomb seen in the first trailer for No Way Home.
Some reports suggest that Williem Dafoe recorded scenes for this film, which would confirm his theory that Norman Osborn faked his death in the first Spider-Man movie, and his conscience has been left in a kind of Limbo.
Lizard
At 2:26 minutes into the first trailer, a strange anthropomorphic figure is seen getting ready to attack Peter Parker, which could indicate the return of The Lizard.
This villain was played by Rhys Ifans, who gave life to Doctor Curt Connors, who when experimenting in ways for mammals to recover lost limbs combined his DNA with that of a lizard, which turned him into a
Mysterio
Mysterio is one of the culprits of Peter Parker’s situation, exposing his secret identity as Spider-Man, so his death could be an illusion to take revenge on Spidey.
Quentin Beck, a former Stark Industries employee, planned to take over his former boss’s technology, which he inherited from Peter Parker, thereby teaming up with former Stark employees to exact revenge on his allies.
Vulture
Another villain still on the radar of the MCU, as well as Sony’s Spider-Man Universe is Adrian Toomes, better known as The Vulture, played by Michael Keaton.
Vulture is in a New York prison, awaiting trial against him, but let’s not forget that his appearance in the Morbius trailer is a surprise, so in this film it could be known as a prison escape.
Scorpion
Another villain featured in Spider-Man: Homecoming is Marc Gargan (Michael Mando), a buyer interested in the technology that Adrian Toomes built.
Four years away, Gargan could count on the suit with which he will be known in the underworld The Scorpion.
