The Mexican Franchise Association (AMF) continues to support the internationalization of Mexican franchises. In compliance with its strategy, the organization’s partner brands participate in the International Franchise Expo 2023, held in New York, United States from June 1 to 3.
It is one of the most important international fairs worldwide and represents a valuable opportunity for franchises associated with the AMF, led by Mario Alberto Briceño Martínez, to establish strategic contacts, explore business alliances and expand their presence in the United States market. This strategic event has a great global reach, since its visitors are not only North American citizens, but also people from different latitudes, mainly from Asia, South America and Africa. In fact, it is considered the gateway to the African market that shares similarities with the Latin American market.
Among the brands that attend this important business event are Agua Inmaculada, belonging to the field of manufacturing, selling and distributing water purifiers, BusinessKids, dedicated to children’s entrepreneurship; and EPS Automotriz, dedicated to corrective and preventive services for automobiles.
The president of the AMF, Mario Alberto Briceño Martínez, congratulated the Mexican brands for transcending borders and stressed that the association continues to work on identifying opportunities and generating strategic alliances that promote the expansion of Mexican franchises globally.

Currently, 10 percent of the brands affiliated with the AMF have already managed to transcend borders or become international, some of them having a presence on several continents.

Mary Carmen Cabrera, Vice President of International Affairs, mentioned that the internationalization process is not for a certain size of company, every Mexican brand can find an opportunity abroad. The companies that participate in this commercial mission have previously received the training of the ITAM diploma course, organized in conjunction with the AMF, which has provided them with the necessary preparation to undertake this challenge successfully.
