The investments made by Mexicans through the Flink platform were mainly for the ETF SPDR Bloomberg High Yield Bond, Apple, Virgin Galactics, Tesla, Alphabet and Energy Transfer Partners so far in 2022. For local shares, Cemex, Femsa , Coca Cola Femsa, América Móvil, Bachoco and Televisa were the most demanded.
“Femsa and Cemex are companies that people see well and the truth is that in the reports they performed well. The vast majority of people invest in companies they know, I think those brands are closer and it makes much more sense for them to go and put 50 pesos there, rather than a company they don’t understand”, mentioned Sergio Jiménez, CEO of Flink .
