Teamfight Tactics’ long-awaited update 12.1 review: improvements and changes to champions and items.
We are nothing away from a new version of Teamfight Tactics, but we have not yet had time to comment on everything that came in the new update 12.1 of League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics.

Teamfight Tactics Update 12.1
For some time now a new year has meant a new season for League of Legends, but in Teamfight Tactics things stay the same. However, anyone would think that TFT version 12.1 we would not see more than a few tweaks to some tabs and objects, but this time, the update is one of the biggest.
So much so, that the TFT 12.1 update could mark a before and after for the Set 6: Gizmo & Gadgets, as many tiles in the metagame were nerfed, while some not-so-used ones got buffs that make them look more promising for future games, though only time will tell which way the game goes now.
Analysis of the update 12.1 of TFT
As we said before, the Teamfight Tactics Update 12.1 It comes with a lot of changes and tweaks to champions, items, and the game system itself. So in order not to waste too much time commenting on every change and adjustment, we’ll make a quick summary of each of these.

Changes and adjustments to champions
- Champions with improvements in the update: Ekko, Garen, Lissandra, Heimerdinger, Talon, Kog’Maw, Swain, Seraphine, Twisted Fate, Illaoi, Zilean, Samira, Sion, and Vex.
- Champions who received an adjustment to their abilities to balance them: Caitlyn, Galio, Graves, Urgot, Kai’Sa, Tahm Kench, Kassadin, Malzahar, Orianna, Yone, Viktor.
- Items that were strengthened: Guardian Angel, Rapid Fire Cannon, Zz’Rot Portal, Chalice of Power.
- Items that were weakened: Sunfire Cloak, Morellonomicon, Statikk Dagger. Changes and adjustment to the game system:
- Hextech Augments that were buffed: Improvised Armor, Spell Blade, Charm of the Forest. In turn, some like Ascension, Burning Censer, Cybernetic Implants, Duo, Stand Together, and Solar Panel were weakened.
In addition to the latter, Technochemist, Imperial, Innovator, Mobsters, and Mutants all got buffs, while Socialite and Yordles were nerfed for game balance.
New year, new metagame?
The arrival of 2022 brought with it many changes for League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics, however, it is still too early for us to give an opinion on what the best champions or best compositions. However, we can be clear about something, this year for Teamfight Tactics will be amazing.
And it is that every day the presence of Teamfight Tactics in the eSports scene, and there is no doubt that it is becoming one of the public favorite video games, going beyond being a “League of Legends extension” to become a completely standalone game. And you do you think?
