Taylor Swift announced this Tuesday, November 1, her long-awaited return to the stage with a tour called “The Eras Tour”.
In this first detail of shows, the artist revealed the dates of the presentations in the stadiums of the United States, where she will perform from March to August 2023.
International dates, which would include (has not been confirmed) dates in Mexico and other Latin American countries, will be revealed later.
The bands that will accompany her on the US tour are Paramore, Haim, Phoebe Bridgers, Beabadoobee, Girl in Red, Muna, Gayle, Gracie Abrams and Owenn.
Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour”
As revealed by Taylor Swift on social networks, the tour begins on March 18, 2023 in Glendale, the same place where her last stage appearance, “Reputation”, began before the pandemic, back in 2018.
The US leg concludes four and a half months later with two nights at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, the venue she was going to open as a concert venue in 2020 with the canceled “Lover Fest” mini-tour.
Swift described the tour on Instagram as “a journey through the musical eras of my career (past and present!)”. The text is accompanied by the design of a graphic that shows how the artist looked in different phases of her career.
Tickets go on sale November 18 and, as with all major artist tours today, there will be an earlier release for credit card users, in this case Capital One cardholders, starting of November 15.
In what has been announced, there will be 26 shows in 20 cities. Some cities will have two nights: Los Angeles, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Chicago, Arlington, Foxborough and East Rutherford.
Tickets to see Taylor Swift’s US tour range from $49 to $449, with VIP packages starting at $199 and going up to $899.
