Don’t miss: This is the Marvel Studios 2021-2024 release schedule
However, some MCU productions seed these easter eggs in such a way that only hawk-eyed fans can notice these references.
Without further ado, here are some MCU easter eggs you didn’t see, like Stan Lee’s birthday or Korea’s reverence for Asgard.
Thor takes us on Journey Into Mystery
This easter egg within the first Thor movie was placed for fans of the eagle-eyed God of Thunder, as it wasn’t an easy wink to find.
In the New Mexico town where Odinson fell, you can see a sign that reads Land of Enchantment… Journey Into Mystery, which takes us back to the title of the comic that gave us the God of Thunder in the Marvel Universe in 1962.
The creators of Miles Morales in the Aaron Davis file
In Spider-Man: Homecoming, Donald Glover was featured as Aaron Davis, a criminal from the Queens neighborhood, and who mentioned that he had a nephew, which referred us to Miles Morales, but that was not all.
In the file that Spider-Man visualizes of this criminal, you can see two aliases he has, the first as Prowler and the other as Brian Pinchelli, a mixture of the names of the creators of Miles Morales, Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli.
The Ten Rings in Ant-Man
In Iron Man 3 we saw the “generic” version of The Organization of the Ten Rings, which had as its visible face Trevor Slatery, who was known as the Mandarin, although this Organization was thoroughly known in Shang-Chi.
Between Iron Man 3 and Shang-Chi, the Ten Rings Organization briefly made an appearance in the first Ant-Man film, when Darren Cross’s associates went to acquire the Yellow Jacket technology, and one of the gunmen One of these thugs had the tattoo of the Ten Rings on his neck.
Collector 142, the mystery behind the Valkyrie alias
Thor: Ragnarok introduced us to Valkerye, one of Asgard’s fiercest guards who escaped to Sakaar to pursue her life after her companions were murdered by Hela. But Valkyrie was known on this planet as Collector 142.
This number is not circumstantial, as it refers to Valkyrie’s debut, which occurred in the pages of The Incredible Hulk #142.
Thor and Hulk present in Spider-Man: No Way Home
Iron Man and Captain America were not the only Avengers with a presence in the first Spidey tape in the MCU, since in one of the rooms of the Midtown school where Peter Parker studies there is a photograph of Bruce Banner as one of the beings that they have contributed to humanity thanks to their intelligence.
Thor also has a wink when in the place where Peter Parker and Aunt May have dinner, a place called Korean Church Of Asgard is seen. Hulk and Thor could be companions in the future of Spider-Man, now that a new trilogy has been announced,
The signs of Makkari and the love of the Ridloff family
Lauren Ridloff played Makkari in Eternals, a character who, like the actress, is deaf and speaks sign language, in which there are two that refer to two of Lauren’s most loved beings.
When Kingo takes out his energy flashes with his hands, the sign he makes is the one with which Lauren Ridlof refers to her son, and the name of Makkari in signs is the name of Douglas Ridloff, the husband of the actress and who was a consultant of sign language in Chloe Zhao’s tape.
Fin Fang Foom was introduced in Iron Man 2
One of Iron Man’s greatest villains came to the MCU and despite his immense size we weren’t able to see him. The reason? It was just an advertisement.
In one of the shots of Iron Man 2 you can see a billboard announcing the next release of a movie and the illustration corresponds to one of the modern versions of Fin Fang Foom.
WandaVision and the tribute to Stan Lee
The entrance of episode 7 of WandaVision, which is similar to Happy Endings, showed several images with the name of Wanda, but one drew attention, thanks to the tribute it has dedicated to Stan Lee.
One of these images corresponds to the license plate of a car, which says Wanda, but above the name comes a number, 122822, which refers to the date of birth Stanley Martin Lieber, who was known in life to Stan Lee.
Black Panther is located in Iron Man 2
At the end of Iron Man 2, Tony Stark not only found out that for the Avengers initiative he would only be a starting consultant, he also learned about characters that would arrive for phase three of the MCU and other beings that have not yet debuted in Marvel Studios.
In one of the maps seen in the warehouse used by SHIELD to meet with Stark, three locations are located, which correspond to Wakanda and Atlantis, homes of Black Panther and Namor, respectively.
Hawkeye’s Morse Code
One of the series that hid many easter eggs is Hawkeye, but one of them was difficult for fans who do not know about Morse code, one of the most used languages to send hidden messages.
When Clint Barton and Kate Bishop are trapped by the Tracksuit Mafia in the toy store, a light flashes behind them, which emits a message in Morse with the numbers 112012, which is the date that issue 4 of the Hawkeye series was published. by Matt Fraction and David Aja (November 2012), where Kate Bishop is introduced for the first time.
