God of War: Ragnarok is one of the most anticipated games of the year that has not been delayed yet, but everything seems to indicate that the game will arrive this year on PS4 and PlayStation 5. It seems that Sony will release God of War: Ragnarok merchandise in September, which suggests that its launch is not that far away.
UK retailer Geeky Zone has just added new God of War: Ragnarok merchandise to its online catalog, with a release date scheduled for September 30. The date is probably tentative, but among the merchandise we find shirts, hats, stuffed animals and other accessories.
Earlier today it was reported that God of War: Ragnarok has been classified in South Korea, which could mean that Santa Monica Studios is nearing the end of development. If we add to this that merchandise for the game goes on sale in September, everything seems to indicate that God of War: Ragnarok will be released in the coming months.
“E3 season” kicks off in a week, but so far Sony hasn’t announced a presentation, so the company may decide to postpone its announcements, as it has done in years past when it skipped E3. Either way, assuming God of War: Ragnarok arrives in the second half of 2022, we could be getting news very soon.
Last week Sony detailed the accessibility features of God of War: Ragnarok, which expands on those introduced in 2018’s God of War and its PC port that arrived this year. Similarly, the fact that Sony presents a detailed description of these functions makes us think that the game is nearing the end of its development.
