Singapore recorded its hottest temperature in 40 years on Saturday, authorities said, as an exceptional heat wave hit large parts of South and Southeast Asia.
Saturday’s temperature of 37C was the highest this year, matching the record for a daily peak recorded in April 1983, the National Environment Agency (NEA) said on Facebook.
