We are in the second week of June, in the middle of announcement season for the video game industry and although E3 was canceled this year, we had Summer Game Fest to fill its place, at least in the digital aspect. During yesterday’s broadcast Dotemu presented a new trailer for TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge and announced that it will come to Xbox GamePass since its launch.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge arrives June 16 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, as well as the Xbox Game Pass service on consoles. During Summer Game Fest it was also confirmed that Casey Jones will be the seventh playable character to be available on launch day.

Two years ago Dotemu gave us the incredible Streets of Rage 4, so expectations are high with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, which could be a new modern classic of the beat ’em up genre, with the difference that we can play in cooperative mode for up to 6 simultaneous players.
The seven confirmed playable characters for TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge are Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, Raphael, April O’Neil, Master Splinter, and Casey Jones. At this time it is not known if the game will receive additional fighters and other content through DLC.
The TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge soundtrack was composed by Tee Lopes, the composer for Sonic Mania and Streets of Rage 4 DLC, who is also working on Metal Slug Tactics. As for the voices of the turtles, these correspond to the voice actors of the 87 series, with which they seek to deliver an authentic experience.
