The consumer mocked the “deal” advertisement Sears posted on his Twitter account.
The Hot Sale is one of the most anticipated dates for Mexican consumers to buy the products they want at a cheaper price. But this date also registers high numbers of complaints and complaints from consumers on social networks against brands for not respecting prices, or for misleading advertising, as is the case of an Internet user who exhibited to Sears for the offer of a motorcycle that according to the client is cheaper at Bajaj Motorcycles.
Faced with these complaints, social networks play a very important role, since through these media people feel free to present their cases and alert other consumers.
The foregoing is due to the great growth that these platforms have had, where according to data from a recent report by We Are Social and Hootsuite, there are currently 4,620 million network users worldwide, which represents a growth year-on-year of more than 10 percent.
Sears Hot Sale disappoints consumer
Through your account on the social network Twitter a Sears department store consumer showcased the brand for its Hot Sale promotionwhere the product is more expensive than in the firm to which it belongs.
The Internet user identified as @solidkarlox shared the price comparison of the promotion of a Bajaj Motorcycles brand motorcycle, which is for sale at Sears, at 78,029 Mexican pesos and on the motorcycle’s signature page it is at 65,920 Mexican pesos.

The consumer publication highlighted the high costs of “promoting” the Mexican store. Also, he took advantage to mock Sears’ advertising of its Hot Sale deals.
This complaint is not the only one that is registered this third day of today Sale, where Aeroméxico consumers also denounced their offers as “scams”, but also Walmart and Sam’s Club customers who exhibited the firms for increasing their prices days before starting the Hot Sale.
But various people also exhibited an alleged fraud by Viva Aerobús, where Internet users increased the price of a flight from 800 pesos to 4,000 pesos as an “offer” for Hot Sale.
Let us remember that this new season of Hot Sale started last Monday May 23 where Mexican consumers enjoyed the best deals until May 31.
This only reflects the opinion of the consumer and the conversation that it generates in the digital pulse, for which Merca 2.0 requested the position of the brand in order to tell both sides of the story; however, so far it has not been received. The note will be updated in case of a response.
